Daily Thoughts 9-27-2017 Ezra 9:6,8

"I said: "My God, I am too ashamed and humiliated to raise my face to you, my God, for our wicked deeds are heaped up above our heads and our guilt reaches up to heaven.

"And now, only a short time ago, mercy came to us from the LORD, our God, who left us a remnant and gave us a stake in his holy place; thus our God has brightened our eyes and given us relief in our slavery." ‭‭Ezra‬ ‭9:6, 8‬

The mercy of our God is always upon us, will we reach out and accept it as our own, a pure gift from God, our creator.  You ever beat yourself up over something that you did, maybe it was a screw-up, maybe a bad decision or just plain old sin.  The devil wants nothing more than to have us wallow in that mess and he has been doing this to people since the dawn of time.   God looks down upon His perfect creation and gives us His mercy and forgiveness, He gives us His Son.  Life teaches us many things, we learn from these times in our lives, we learn to love ourselves as God loves us.  Do unto others as you would have them done unto you, this also applies to the man in the mirror.    God brightens your eyes and has given you relief, smile and enjoy your day, He is proud of His creation.

Dear Heavenly Father, You made each of us perfect, allow us to accept Your Son Jesus into our lives.  May we receive Him as Your perfect gift to us and allow Him to change us.  I thank You Lord for loving me a sinner, You know my past, my present and my future and You still love me, may I never forget this.  And may I go about the rest of my days living out my life with You in my heart and the Living Presence in my eyes.  Jesus, I trust in You, Amen.

Mary, Ark of the Covenant, pray for us.

God's song selection just for you!
