"for creation was made subject to futility, not of its own accord but because of the one who subjected it, in hope that creation itself would be set free from slavery to corruption and share in the glorious freedom of the children of God." Romans 8:20-21
Whom are you subject too? With freedom comes responsibility, you are saved, you have New life in Christ, you are born again. Does that make you better than anyone else? When you are enslaved you are under the control of someone else. Being set free comes with responsibility because what placed you in prison can sure put you back there if you are not careful. Power corrupts, absolute power corrupts absolutely, the same with your freedom, if you believe that you can do no wrong and you are always saved then you are subject to the error of your ways. We can not save ourselves, only Jesus can, in the end it will be up to Him. The question He will ask is what did we do with your freedom. Don't be like the King in Luke 16:19-31

Dear Lord God, to whom much is given much is expected. I subject myself to You, I am a slave to You, You are my Master. It is Your voice that I listen and follow, not my own or anyone else. Enslave me to Your ways and make me pure. I place my hope in You that upon the last day You will rescue me. May I learn to rest in Your arms and to not lean on my own understanding. Lord, Son of the Living God, have mercy on me a sinner. Amen.
