Daily Thoughts 10-25-2017 Romans 6:16

"Do you not know that if you present yourselves to someone as obedient slaves, you are slaves of the one you obey, either of sin, which leads to death, or of obedience, which leads to righteousness?" Romans‬ ‭6:16‬

What is right and what is wrong?  Can two people have different opinions and both be right?  Look at our culture today and truth is trying to be redefined.  The thought is truth is whatever you believe.   In the eyes of God this is not so, sin is sin, plain and simple.   We can try all we want but one action leads to death and another to righteousness.  If Jesus is your Master then you know what is right and what is wrong.  Whom do you owe your life too?  "We escaped with our lives like a bird from the fowler's snare; the snare was broken, and we escaped." ‭‭Psalms‬ ‭124:7‬

Dear Father God, I thank You this morning for loving me, for releasing me from the fowler's snare.  May I be obedient to Your voice and Yours alone.   May I not fall victim to changing tides of time that works to ensnare us from reaching You.   May I imitate You in all my actions, may I love as you did even when it isn't comfortable.  Live in me today so I may live forever.  In Jesus name, Amen.

Mary, Mother of Truth, pray for us.
