Daily Thoughts 10-8-2017 Isaiah 5:1-2

Let me now sing of my friend, my friend's song concerning his vineyard.  My friend had a vineyard
on a fertile hillside; he spaded it, cleared it of stones, and planted the choicest vines; within it he built a watchtower, and hewed out a wine press.  Then he looked for the crop of grapes, but what it yielded was wild grapes.  Isaiah 5:1-2

Have you considered why you are here at this time in history?  God gives us free will to do as we please which we were created to honor God.  The birds of the air honor God by  doing what they were created to do.  What do we do with the gifts we have been given.  Which voice do we follow?   The One that produces good fruit or the one that produces bad wine?  "Give, and it will be given to you. They will pour into your lap a good measure-pressed down, shaken together, and running over. For by your standard of measure it will be measured to you in return." ‭Luke‬ ‭6:38‬

Dear Holy Father, my cup overflows with desire to please You yet I am weak.  Fortify these walls so they do nothing but honor and praise You, all the days of my life.  Complete in me what I was created for, You are King of my heart.  Bless this day Lord, it is perfect, may I seek Your perfect will.  In Jesus name, Amen.

Mary, Mother of Peace, pray for us.
