"At noon darkness came over the whole land until three in the afternoon. And at three o'clock Jesus cried out in a loud voice, " Eloi, Eloi, lema sabachthani? " which is translated, "My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?" Mark 15:33-34
Doesn't it always seem like in your darkest hour God isn't there. In fact this is when He is closest to you, for in His hour of Mercy He has prepared you for your resurrection into new life. All those trials and falls, pains and bruises got you to the point where you call out to God for help. He never forsakes us, it is us who forsakes Him until we realize we have no where else to turn. "In my distress I called out: LORD! I cried out to my God. From his temple he heard my voice; my cry to him reached his ears." Psalms 18:7. Now the potter can go to work and mold new life in You. Prepare yourself for your resurrection, out with the old you, in with the risen you. Listen and follow, it is that easy, 15-30 minutes each morning breathes new life into you.
Dear Heavenly Father, in our hour of need you are always there standing at the ready to shepherd Your lamb, Your son or daughter who has been prepared. Thank You Jesus for showing me this walk and giving me insight into new life with You. Prayers for those in their hour of need, show them mercy God and keep us on the path of salvation. You are the King of my heart and I want to live in You forever. In Jesus name, Amen.
