"[The] large crowd of the Jews found out that he was there and came, not only because of Jesus, but also to see Lazarus, whom he had raised from the dead. And the chief priests plotted to kill Lazarus too, because many of the Jews were turning away and believing in Jesus because of him." John 12:9-11
Don't we want to see proof of the healing power of God. Are you a living example of Lazarus, being raised from the death of this world into new life. We begin Holy Week, are you walking with Jesus, do you see what He sees? Look about you, the times are not much different. When ones way of life gets challenged, things begin to change rapidly. Be that living example, a constant in the sea of change, proof that God can raise the dead to life. Bring others to Christ, that is our call in this world. And do it by just living in Him.
Dear Heavenly Father, we live in a world seeking answers and proof. May they find You as the answer and those raised to new life as proof. Watch over Your children Lord and protect them from the plots of the evil one. Help me this week live the way of the cross in a new light. Open my senses to experience a deeper understanding of Your passion to save us. Bless this day Lord and lead the way, I will follow with Your help. Amen.
