"When a strong man fully armed guards his palace, his possessions are safe. But when one stronger than he attacks and overcomes him, he takes away the armor on which he relied and distributes the spoils." Luke 11:21-22
Are you always fully armed or are there times you let your guard down? You are probably thinking I always have my guard up. The enemy prowls around testing the defenses and seizes those opportunities to rob you of your joy when you are least prepared. Have you ever dropped Jesus off at the shore so you can go have a little fun? You can't fool God and you also can't fool the devil. Your strength is God even when you are living life. Listen to your words, are you claiming victory or are you opening up the fortress to allow the enemy in. We make choices each day that either strengthen us or weaken us, be always on your guard for you never know when you will be attacked.

Dear Father, each day is a series of choices and they build upon the previous one. Thank You for locking the bolt on the door, thank You for the ability to listen and observe. Watch over us today, for we are constantly are being attacked and You are my strength. Thank You for the confirmation of direction, continue to feed Your body as we live each day. Shore up our defenses and never let us justify wrong actions or decisions. You know what Your soldier needs and He trusts in You. In Jesus name, Amen.
Mary, Mother of Love, pray for us.
