"the man said: "This one, at last, is bone of my bones and flesh of my flesh; This one shall be called 'woman,' for out of man this one has been taken. That is why a man leaves his father and mother and clings to his wife, and the two of them become one body." Genesis 2:23-24
How did Adam know where 'woman' came from, he was sound asleep when God formed her? This shows how our relationship will be like when in Heaven, sin had not entered into man yet, man and God we're one. God's thoughts were Adams thoughts, look at the next verse, the purity of his thoughts speaks truth. It is sin that creates the interference in our lives and our communication with God. More the reason to avoid it and be in tune with God as best as we can. Think, what areas is God revealing to You, His thoughts are pure.
Dear Father, I am blessed beyond measure to have the 'woman' You gave me. She is a joy to travel through time with. I thank You for forming the perfect wife for me. May we see the wisdom of God in each other and continue growing deeper in love through the challenges of life. Prayers for those not seeing eye to eye, may they see the gift that You have given them. Help us avoid the near occasion of sin and the sin of omission. Bless this day Father and may we be in union with our thoughts. Amen.
