"When they heard the sound of the LORD God walking about in the garden at the breezy time of the day, the man and his wife hid themselves from the LORD God among the trees of the garden." Genesis 3:8
Does avoiding God make our sins go away? No matter how hard we try to cover them up, He is still fully aware of them. In His covenant with us He is fully committed to us even when we go and hide. Relationship is a two way street, God knows our transgressions. He wants us to be open to Him and use our free will to come to Him. Forgiveness is a beautiful gift, are you still trying to cover up. "How blessed is he whose transgression is forgiven, Whose sin is covered!" Psalms 32:1. He comes to you knowing what you are afraid to tell, do not let Jesus die in vain to you, bring Him into your life and learn to have a conversation with His Father. Jesus died for your sins.
Dear Lord God, awaken within us the desire for a pure heart, open our spirit to turn to you and speak what you already know. Heal the pain that lays hidden within so we may walk in peace with You. You are a gracious God who loves us beyond measure even in our transgressions. Pray for those who have yet to realize the root cause of their pain, may they dig deep and bring it to God. Prayer for a friend who is hanging on to bitterness may they peaceful touch of Jesus in their lives. I ask this in Jesus name, Amen.
Mary, Queen of Peace, pray for us.
Holy Spirit come!
