"So we are ambassadors for Christ, as if God were appealing through us. We implore you on behalf of Christ, be reconciled to God." 2 Corinthians 5:20
Do we take on the words of Paul in this age? He is pointing to Christ and imploring the people of his time to turn to God, to recognize what they are doing is not of Christ and be reconciled to Him, to come back to what God has intended. Did Paul realize that this words would span time and be effective today? I assume not, for Paul was following his heart and responding to the promptings of the Holy Spirit.
You are an ambassador for Christ, your actions speak louder than anything you say. We are all called to be reconciled to God, that is why we were created, to worship and honor Him. Examine thy self and see what things you are doing that is leading you away from God, and fix it.
What is God saying to me: Be patient with yourself, I see your heart.
Dear Father, You know how I yearn for You and what challenges me, I thank You for purifying my heart, I thank You for the joy in seeing You at work. I thank You for transforming a world to sing to You. You are doing a lot and yet there is so much more to do. Father, encourage others to become Your light and not hide it under a basket. Encourage others to walk by faith and not by sight. Prayers for many this morning as they are walking with You, whether they realize it or not, it is a beautiful song that brings joy to You, You see their heart. Bless this day Father, keep us safe and thank You for another day. In Jesus name, Amen.
Mary, Our Lady of Victory, pray for us.
Did I live the truth to the ones I love?
Greater is He that is in me than he that is in the world. 1 John 4:4b
