Psalms 130 - Sin

"Lord, hear my cry! May your ears be attentive to my cry for mercy. If you, LORD, keep account of sins, Lord, who can stand? But with you is forgiveness and so you are revered."  Psalms‬ ‭130:2-4‬

Psalms 130 - Sin.  God keeps account of sins, He is fully aware of all of them.  The psalmist has an account of his sins, he is fully aware of his sins for he cry's out to God for mercy.  He has a holy fear of God, he has a reverence for the power and might of God and seeks His mercy.  I think of my sins from yesterday, God has an account and thankfully so do I.

Jesus paid the price for our sins but if we are not aware of them, or take this redemption for granted then that in itself is a sin.  It is a trap that some have fallen into and their own pride keeps them there for God is not revered.  They become comfortable in their sin and there is no cry for mercy.

What is God saying to me: My Word will accomplish what it is intended to do.  Live your faith and be fully aware of the ways that you sin and change your ways.

Dear Father, I am sorry for my sins yesterday, for the ways I did not express love.  Help me examine my own self and see the mortal sins I commit without my awareness.  I know some don't understand but that is ok, with You I will be an open book.  Prayers for cries of mercy, for awareness of the ways we sin against You and a holy reverence of how important our relationship with You is.   Continued prayers for those with Covid who are fearful, give them peace Father that surpasses all understanding.   I ask this through Jesus Christ, Amen.
