Psalms 137 - Suffering

"Desolate Daughter Babylon, you shall be destroyed, blessed the one who pays you back what you have done us!"  ‭‭Psalms‬ ‭137:8‬

Psalms 137 - Suffering.  We all face suffering, maybe it is the loss of a loved one, maybe it is financial hardships or loss of a job.  Do not fall into despair, raise your voice and praise God.  Jesus carries His cross to Calvary, He fell three times but His focus never left the prize.  We too are asked to carry crosses that are thrust on us unexpectedly, do we fall into despair and forget that we are not alone.  Jesus had Simon to help carry His cross, you have Jesus to help carry yours if you focus on Him and not the cross.  Keep your eyes focused on Him and all will be well for God is with you.

What is God saying to me:  Love wins.

Dear Father, we can easily fall into despair if You are not in our hearts, during the trials of life, You strengthen us to endure till the end.  You give us strength to see beyond the day and focus on the prize.  I pray for those who are suffering without hope, who have lost their way.  I pray Father that they reach out and take Your hand and renew their spirit.  Fill us with Your love and Your hope that all will be well.  Thank You Lord for a Spirit filled morning, it is going to be a good day.  Amen.
