Week 20 - The Journey Day 7

Week 20 - The Journey Day 7

""Everyone who speaks a word against the Son of Man will be forgiven, but the one who blasphemes against the holy Spirit will not be forgiven."  ‭‭Luke‬ ‭12:10‬

Jesus had been challenged by the Pharisees as they were seeking ways to trap Him, they were speaking against Him and not seeing the Divinity of God, the power of the Holy Spirit within Him.  This sin of denying Christ is forgivable for they yet to come to know God, they knew about God in a human sense and had been betrayed by the devil on who He really is.  They were speaking against the Son of Man.

Now the unforgivable sin, how do we delve into this?  To be continued tomorrow as we pray for the guidance of the Holy Spirit as He leads us to all Truth.

Dear Lord God, I see you operating within scripture and within me as we are journeying through time.  I hear You speak through others to help me understand what is going on within me.  I thank You Father for all the mysteries of Heaven being made available to each of us.   For the joy of knowing You and loving You in words and deeds.  May we be attentive to the promptings of Your Holy Spirit today, may we listen for the insights as You move amongst us.  I ask this in Jesus name, Amen.
