"Settle with your opponent quickly while on the way to court with him. Otherwise your opponent will hand you over to the judge, and the judge will hand you over to the guard, and you will be thrown into prison."
Matthew 5:25
Will we not all be judged? "I charge you in the presence of God and of Christ Jesus, who will judge the living and the dead, and by his appearing and his kingly power:" 2 Timothy 4:1 In the Catholic faith we believe in purgatory, a place to be cleansed before being in the presence of God. "But he refused. Instead, he had him put in prison until he paid back the debt." Matthew 18:30. We make choices each day that are in agreement with God or at odds with Him. He will not condemn us, our actions will. A lot of people believe once saved always saved. So are your actions making God an opponent or friend? I will pay what ever debt I owe.

My God, I am sorry for my sins with all my heart. In choosing to do wrong and failing to do good, I have sinned against you whom I should love above all things. I firmly intend, with your help, to do penance, to sin no more, and to avoid whatever leads me to sin. Our Savior Jesus Christ suffered and died for us. In his name, my God, have mercy.
Mary, Queen of Heaven, pray for us.
