Daily Thoughts 3-19-2017 John 4:9

"The Samaritan woman said to him, "How can you, a Jew, ask me, a Samaritan woman, for a drink?" (For Jews use nothing in common with Samaritans.)" John‬ ‭4:9‬

You ever notice how history repeats itself?  The Samaritan's and Jew's are related by Abraham and Sarah, now they don't get along.  God is the common denominator, this is true today as well.  Jesus challenges us to reach out, He didn't confine Himself to just His people.  With Jesus there are no boundaries, are we not all made in the image of God and made to worship Him.

Dear Lord Jesus, You are there to teach us the wisdom of Your ways.  May we be attentive to the lessons You have for us today.   May we see beyond the cultural differences and treat everyone with respect and dignity.  In Jesus name, Amen.

Mary, Mother of God, pray for us.
