"But when the disciples gathered around him, he got up and entered the city. On the following day he left with Barnabas for Derbe." Acts 14:20
There is joy when you are surrounded by a group of believers. There is a joy that is hard to describe. The tolls of the day may get you down but then you are blessed with friends that pick up your spirit. To live in Christ is to live in a community, never miss an opportunity to get around others and pray. Where two or more are gathered in my name there am I in their midst.
Dear Lord, You fill us with Joy when we gather together. You give what You can only give so we maybe strengthened for the glory of God. Allow us to sing Your praises when we gather together and see the benefit of living in a faith community. Thank You for Your blessings and make clear our paths to be with You. I ask this in the name of Jesus, Amen.
