As I reflect this morning on the readings, my thoughts go to Mother Mary. She is the birthplace of all Christians. Without Mary's yes to the will of God, we would not have redemption. It was in her YES, that Christianity was born, she allowed Jesus to enter this world as man. If you exchange Mary for Zion, you will see God's divine plan come to life. Maybe you don't have a devotion to Mary, Jesus does, she is the spiritual mother of all Christians, whether they acknowledge her or not.
Dear Lord God, you blessed us with a beautiful mother for Your Son Jesus. May we treat and respect her as You do. No family is complete with out a mother, help us see Mary in Your word. Reveal Your master plan to us as we read scripture. Awaken our senses to the Holy Spirit and may we be super sensitive to Your promptings Lord God. Thank You for Your guidance this day. I ask this through Jesus Christ, my Lord and Redeemer, Amen.
