"But if you are patient when you suffer for doing what is good, this is a grace before God. For to this you have been called, because Christ also suffered for you, leaving you an example that you should follow in his footsteps." 1 Peter 2:20b-21
Have you lost any friends or gotten the cold shoulder for speaking the truth? It is our choice each day to follow the master, to choose right or wrong, to speak or not to speak. We will suffer no matter the choice so choose wisely and accept the grace of patience with those around you. As Jesus did, lead and those He has chosen will hear His voice and follow His example.
Dear Triune God, You are our example that we are to follow. Help us receive the grace of patience when being rejected. May we see what you see, a lost soul that is wandering in the desert. Ease the pain of those suffering by showing them to offer it up to our Heavenly Father as you did. Bless this day with Your grace as we move one more day closer to salvation. Amen.
