"for whoever is begotten by God conquers the world. And the victory that conquers the world is our faith." 1 John 5:4
Day 12 of our Lenten journey: Be obedient to the will of God this is our faith, to act upon His direction in our lives. There will be times our human nature will not want too act. Even Jesus had this moment in His life. "saying, "Father, if you are willing, take this cup away from me; still, not my will but yours be done." Luke 22:42. The victory was His because He obeyed His Father in Heaven. What about you, do you listen and obey? Just because the feeling isn't there does it allow us an out. The victory is yours if you act upon your faith even when your will is unwilling.
Dear Lord God, I thank You for the obedience in my life to sit and listen for Your direction. You have our best interest at heart, to get us to Heaven. The hope that I have is the hope You gave me and I will fight for that hope. Thank You Father for this day, bless us on our journey today, keep us safe and may we be prepared to give reason for our hope. I ask this in Jesus name, Amen.
