Matthew 5:23-24 3-15-2019 www.dailythoughts.com

"Therefore, if you bring your gift to the altar, and there recall that your brother has anything against you, leave your gift there at the altar, go first and be reconciled with your brother, and then come and offer your gift." ‭‭Matthew‬ ‭5:23-24‬

Day 9 of our Lenten journey; You are the gift upon the altar, how can God Bless you and transform you into the body and blood of Jesus if you are still holding on to anger?  Jesus walked this earth to heal everyone, He did not carry a grudge or hold onto anger.  He died on a cross for our sins, He feels the pain yet He still loves us and forgives us for our transgressions.  We live in a world that is in need and it begins with you.  ""You have heard that it was said, 'You shall love your neighbor and hate your enemy.' But I say to you, love your enemies, and pray for those who persecute you," ‭‭Matthew‬ ‭5:43-44‬.  Are you not the gift He died for that He offers up to the Father.

Dear Father, I pray for the world this morning, I pray for the living Christ to walk and heal those in need.  I pray for the blessing of your protection over our loved ones.  Help us see how the seeds of anger can cause much destruction to ourselves.  Thank You Father for Your strength, You never let me down when I am in need.  May we walk in peace and be the gift that You offered up when You sacrificed Yourself upon the cross today. I ask this in Jesus name, Amen.

Mary, Mother of Hope, pray for us.
