Day 4 of our Lenten journey: What is the relation between these two verses? The Israelites had been led out of Egypt by Moses, they were saved by the oppression they were under, now Moses was instructing them on a Holy life. To bring their first fruits and place them at the altar in thanksgiving. Are you giving God your first fruits for what He has done, is doing? What about the best part of your day when your mind is at its best without all the distractions. "for, if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved." Romans 10:9. Belief is an action word, it is applying what is in His Holy Word. ""Not everyone who says to me, 'Lord, Lord,' will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only the one who does the will of my Father in heaven." Matthew 7:21
Dear Heavenly Father, I strive to know You and understand the depth of Your love. Help me on this journey so I may grow deeper in my belief, open the eyes of my heart to see the greater mysteries that are in front of me. Thank You for Your time and Your gifts, I trust in You even in the darkness. In Jesus name, Amen.
