"Moses then said to Aaron, "This is as the LORD said: Through those near to me I will be sanctified; in the sight of all the people I will obtain glory." But Aaron said nothing.
Aaron answered Moses, "Even though they presented their purification offering and burnt offering before the LORD today, still this misfortune has befallen me. Had I then eaten of the purification offering today, would it have been pleasing to the LORD?" On hearing this, Moses was satisfied."
Leviticus 10:3, 19-20

As we get closer to God in our journey, God holds us to be living examples. In our trials we are being purified, are we taking the time to reflect upon God's Word? It has been a busy week, this morning I have been chewing upon His word as I go about my day. Sometimes the trials and events are God's way of purifying us. We do not get to Heaven unclean we will be spotless. I know I am washed by the lamb, but if not living that, am I a pleasing offering to God.
Possibly, Aaron didn't finish the purification offering as his sons had been purified by the fire of God. We are all called to be Saints, it is not an easy road.
What is God saying to me: Live your faith, a little heat only helps in making you clean. Be at peace.
Dear Father, what an incredible journey, You are constantly in my thoughts, not always in my actions. I thank You for this day, the events of our everyday lives, for watching over us even when we fall. You are my treasure and I place my trust in You, keep purifying. Thank You for the simple things may the speed of life and our culture not drown out Your voice. I ask this in Jesus name, Amen.
Mary, Spouse of the Holy Spirit, pray for us.
