Leviticus Chapter 2 10-11-2019 www.dailythoughts.com

"Every grain offering that you present to the LORD shall be unleavened, for you shall not burn any leaven or honey as an oblation to the LORD." ‭‭Leviticus‬ ‭2:11‬

Go to the source, I am not a farmer, I don't raise any grain but I do bring a grain offering to God, my life.  Each day I begin by coming before God, my day does not start without Him.  "Our ancestors ate manna in the desert, as it is written: 'He gave them bread from heaven to eat.'" John 6:31.  Sitting at His feet and listening, He speaks, He writes. Until you have experienced God speaking directly to you, just you and Him, there is nothing better!  "I am the living bread that came down from heaven; whoever eats this bread will live forever; " John‬ ‭6:51a‬.  Too many of us allow others to influence us in our ways of thinking because we do not begin with God, we do not give Him a grain offering of our unleavened bread, we are to give Him ourself.  "Then they understood that he was not telling them to beware of the leaven of bread, but of the teaching of the Pharisees and Sadducees." Matthew‬ ‭16:12‬. God is the source of all life, may He be in you everyday as you begin.

What is God saying to me: Be at ease, I am at work.

Dear Father, I love sitting at your feet and You teaching, You speaking.  I enjoy the quiet and stillness of the morning being uninterrupted as we dine together.  My day is only beginning, outside my door are many influences, help me focus on You, help me use what you are giving to be an instrument in Your hands.  Prayers of thanksgiving for opportunity, for movement, for growth.  Prayers of thanksgiving for rain, thank You Father for feeding this parched land, may it produce the crop that You desire.  In Jesus name, Amen.

Mary, Queen of Saints, pray for us.
