"The LORD said to Moses:
On the eighth day the individual shall take two unblemished male lambs, one unblemished yearling ewe lamb, three tenths of an ephah of bran flour mixed with oil for a grain offering, and one log of oil. The priest who performs the purification ceremony shall place the person who is being purified, as well as all these offerings, before the LORD at the entrance of the tent of meeting." Leviticus 14:1, 10-11

Coming back into God's community was quite a commitment for those that were healed, they just didn't show up and say thank You Father. I don't know the cost of these items during that time but I imagine it wasn't easy. How does that relate to us today? Are you committed to giving thanks for healing, for being purified? Are you giving of your time, talent and treasure? Animals need nurtured and cared for, oil needs purchased or physically processed, this required self. God calls each of us to give of self, to stretch our abilities. Jesus cured nine lepers only one returned to the priest to give thanks. Was the price too high to pay? God calls. Healing is a process and knowing God provides all, you can afford the price.
What is God saying to me: Living your faith comes at a price, it will not be easy, head up and march on.
Dear Lord God, I thank You for this day, for it's opportunities, it's blessings, and its challenges, keep me committed to Your will. Do not let me be overcome by distractions and lose focus to what is truly important. Help me to love as You love, help me speak as You speak, help me see as You see. Bless this day Father and bless those who are seeking salvation doing what You ask of them. In Jesus name, Amen.
Mary, Our Lady of Victory, pray for us.
