Leviticus Chapter 7, 10-16-2019 www.dailythoughts.com

"This is the ritual for the burnt offering, the grain offering, the purification offering, the reparation offering, the ordination offering, and the communion sacrifice, which the LORD enjoined on Moses at Mount Sinai at the time when he commanded the Israelites in the wilderness of Sinai to bring their offerings to the LORD." Leviticus‬ ‭7:37-38

What a journey God's people have been on and still on.  Reading scripture with the knowledge we have today knowing Jesus died for our sins.  Is He your offering? Are you His offering?  As I read chapter 7 it was with the knowledge that Jesus is the offering, the Israelites had quite a feast, lots of symbolism in this chapter and in the knowledge I receive the body and blood of Jesus every time I go to mass.  Knowing God, reveals who we are and what His purpose is, are you willing to sacrifice and bring it to the Altar?

What is God saying to me: You see through time and how I repeat the importance of your sacrifice and willingness to obey even when at times you may not feel like it.

Dear Lord God, I love You and love the mystery of Your Word, I love seeing the symbolism when reading and seeing the offering being held high.  There is a richness that requires sacrifice and should not seek comfort.  Instill within us the desire to seek You more and more each day.  Thank You Father for revealing these mysterious, may we not take them for granted and may we live them in our lives as we offer up this day in prayer.  In Jesus name, Amen

Mary, Queen of Peace, pray for us.

Greater is He that is in me than he that is in the world.  1 John 4:4b
