Deuteronomy 18 - A dry and weary land

"You must be altogether sincere with the LORD, your God. Although these nations whom you are about to dispossess listen to their soothsayers and diviners, the LORD, your God, will not permit you to do so."
‭‭Deuteronomy‬ ‭18:13-14‬

Deuteronomy 18 - A dry and weary land.  I sit and watch in a sea of people, a land parched that wanders aimlessly through life not realizing that their God is seeking them.  He sends messengers into the vastness to bring life, to show them the springs of living water.  God speaks to each of us, He is saying, change your ways, dispossess their soothsayers and diviner's that have steered you away.  Come to the oasis of God, sit and be refreshed, be real with God.  Tell Him what is going on, ask Him for help, He does not want you to be lost but to live, to be the salt within the sea.

What is God saying to me:  I speak, you listen and trust in my ways. Doors will be opened before you, all I ask is that you step through.

Dear Father, I close my eyes and recall fond memories, a land filled with milk and honey.  Today, I am being led by Your right hand trusting in where we are going.  Prayers for a group of friends going into the vastness, may they each be led by your right hand.  Prayers for those persecuted by their circumstances, may You be greater than all their troubles.  May we all learn to honor You each day and bring peace into our world.   I ask this in Jesus name, Amen.

Mary, Queen of Saints, pray for us.
St. Joseph, pray for us.

Greater is He that is in me than he that is in the world.  1 John 4:4b
