Psalms 9 - Do you know Him

"Those who know your name trust in you; you never forsake those who seek you, LORD.

To Sheol the wicked will depart, all the nations that forget God. For the needy will never be forgotten, nor will the hope of the afflicted ever fade." ‭‭Psalms‬ ‭9:11, 18-19‬

Psalms 9 - Do you know Him?  David speaks of the Lord, Jesus, he knew Him even though He was yet to become man in the flesh.  How did David know Jesus?  It was his acceptance of the invitation to trinitarian life by God.  He needed God in his life and he sought Him out.  When we seek God, He reveals Himself to us, even before He became man.  The invitation is there for all, God knocks, He seeks us out and we must decide to respond.  He also tells us the consequences of not knowing Him.  He is an awesome God, your life is your Song, sing 🎶.

What is God saying to me: From the depths of your soul, you seek me. Even in the darkness you are able to see and hear.

Dear Lord, You reveal Yourself in scripture and give insights that are there but are hidden until we sit still and listen to the guidance of Your Holy Spirit.  A life with You is a life filled with joy, I thank You for living within and giving glimpses into history.  I thank You for the guidance of our Blessed Mother, it was her who opened the door.  I pray for all those who are not needy, who think they have it all figured out, may they answer the invitation and be amazed at Your teachings in the quiet.  Prayers for a priest many miles away following Your call and reaching the needy, bless his ministry Father, he is one of Your chosen ones.  I offer all of this up through my Blessed Mother, Amen.

Mary, Queen of Heaven, pray for us.
