Today you have accepted the LORD's agreement: he will be your God, and you will walk in his ways, observe his statutes, commandments, and ordinances, and obey his voice. And today the LORD has accepted your agreement: you will be a people specially his own, as he promised you, you will keep all his commandments, and he will set you high in praise and renown and glory above all nations he has made, and you will be a people holy to the LORD, your God, as he promised." Deuteronomy 26:17-19

Deuteronomy 26 - Withholding from God. We all want the blessings but do we do what we have agreed to do as followers of Christ Jesus. Do we give of our tithes, first fruits, to those in need? Do we observe His statues and commandments and obey His voice? Or is that just not necessary is this day and age because we know better than God. When we withhold from God, we also tie His hands. The secret in my opinion is giving thanks when you awake, giving Him the best part of your day. To listen to Him when you are weak, you can never out give God. Blessings come in many forms, it can be the grace to accept the circumstance or the grace to trust in Him and not let fear or doubt creep in. Do not tie His hands, His gifts are way much better than we can realize.
What is God saying to me: I see your weakness, listen to me and I will give you the strength you need. It is a battle that is easily won, when you listen and follow.
Dear Father, I sit in the stillness and see You being battered about, I see the pain it is causing to You and others. Help me this day be the man that I need to be, help me avoid the near occasion of sin, I want to observe all of Your statues and commandments, it is Your strength that allows me to do that. Prayers Father for so many this morning dealing with the harshness of life, You know all of their circumstances, I thank You for the graces that are being given to them in these trials. You are greater than all our circumstances. Watch over us this day and keep us safe. I ask this in Jesus's name, Amen.
Mary, Mother of Jesus, pray for us.

Greater is He that is in me than he that is in the world. 1 John 4:4b
