"I call heaven and earth today to witness against you: I have set before you life and death, the blessing and the curse. Choose life, then, that you and your descendants may live, by loving the LORD, your God, obeying his voice, and holding fast to him. For that will mean life for you, a long life for you to live on the land which the LORD swore to your ancestors, to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, to give to them." Deuteronomy 30:19-20
Deuteronomy 30 - Free will. The greatest gift God gave us is His Son, the second greatest gift He gave us is free will. We all get to choose our path in life and God gives us the freedom to do so. Applied knowledge is power, there comes a point in a persons life that their way without God is the wrong way. His voice begins to penetrate through the darkness and we are given the freedom to choose life again. Live, laugh and love, the greatest of these is love. "For God so loved the world that he gave his only Son, so that everyone who believes in him might not perish but might have eternal life." John 3:16 Chose life.
What is God saying to me: you hear well and experience the calmness upon the ocean when you are in the boat, listening and following My voice. Enjoy your day, it is blessed.
Dear Father, You paint an image of tranquility this morning, there is peace in my life and the desire to go to You with all. I thank You for this grace, for the Joy of knowing You, loving You and serving You. Prayers for a family in rocky oceans, may they see the peaceful waters when You are in the boat with them. Thank You for traveling with us today, being our guide and speaking truth through others. May we always be attentive to Your voice God and may our wills be one. I ask this in the name of Jesus, Amen.
