Holy Saturday - Love will penetrate.

"But I will show the holiness of my great name, desecrated among the nations, in whose midst you desecrated it. Then the nations shall know that I am the LORD —oracle of the Lord GOD —when through you I show my holiness before their very eyes. I will take you away from among the nations, gather you from all the lands, and bring you back to your own soil. I will sprinkle clean water over you to make you clean; from all your impurities and from all your idols I will cleanse you. I will give you a new heart, and a new spirit I will put within you. I will remove the heart of stone from your flesh and give you a heart of flesh. I will put my spirit within you so that you walk in my statutes, observe my ordinances, and keep them." Ezekiel‬ ‭36:23-27‬

Holy Saturday - Love will penetrate.  Holy Saturday, God reminds us each year why He created the Heavens and earth, man and women.  He shows us the purity of His thoughts and His faithful servants throughout the years.  He shows His faithful response to man as we denied Him yet He does not stop.  We, in our own lives must decide if Jesus will stay confined in the cold dark tomb of sin or will we open the door to new life and live as a new creation.  Abraham, Moses, Noah, David, Jesus all responded to God's voice with "Here I Am".  Tomorrow we will celebrate His resurrection, this lent has been like no other yet for some He stands and knocks, ready to be awakened into a glorious day.  Simple steps of faith each day awakens Christ in our lives, living in hope and trust and knowing death has been defeated.  He stands at the door and knocks.

What is God saying to me: I stand and knock, what are you leaving behind this year,  never to return to again as you experience newness of life with the Risen Lord.

Dear Father God, it is such a beautiful morning that You have blessed us with.  Thank You for taking care of us, for continually reminding us that Your ways are not our ways.  Thank You Father for giving us the Church and it's message of hope that is repeated to us each year.  Bless this day Father as you prepare us for a Glorious Easter rising.  In the name above every other name, Jesus Christ, Amen.

Greater is He that is in me than he that is in the world.  1 John 4:4b
