Daily Thoughts - Blessed Assurance.

"For in hope we were saved. Now hope that sees for itself is not hope. For who hopes for what one sees? But if we hope for what we do not see, we wait with endurance. In the same way, the Spirit too comes to the aid of our weakness; for we do not know how to pray as we ought, but the Spirit itself intercedes with inexpressible groanings." Romans 8:24-26
I sit and try to look behind the veil, that which I hope for, only to not see. Who hopes for what one sees. Jesus, Son of Man, was going to Heaven, He did not rest on this fact as man. He worked out His salvation by His actions each day loving God and His creation.
He was raptured out of this world and brought home. I too have this hope to be brought home, to be raptured out of this place. Each day builds upon the last and each day brings joys and sufferings. I do not sit and rest, I sit and listen, seeing God at work. Jesus suffered and was brought home, why would we seek anything less than that. He is our example, we are told to follow Him. Work out your salvation in Christ. Will He find the worker working in the vineyard?
Dear Father, I see You at work transforming lives, making Your presence known and increasing faith. I also see the evil one at work creating deception and chaos, speaking lies in hopes of another victim. Help us be on guard with our thoughts and actions thru daily prayer, and worshipping You in the sacrifice of the mass. Thank You Father for answering prayers in advance of the outcome. In Jesus name, Amen.

Greater is He that is in me than he that is in the world. 1 John 4:4b
