Daily Thoughts - Preparation.
Dear Father, You reveal tiny things within that reveal the Truth. You provide insights to my response to your call and my own weaknesses that are being addressed. Help us experience Your passion as You continue to strengthen us with Your Holy Spirit. Thank You Father for the blessings of this day. Prayers for friends who have recently lost loved one, may they be comforted with the knowledge they are never alone. In Jesus name, Amen.
"So then the Lord Jesus, after he spoke to them, was taken up into heaven and took his seat at the right hand of God. But they went forth and preached everywhere, while the Lord worked with them and confirmed the word through accompanying signs.] [And they reported all the instructions briefly to Peter's companions. Afterwards Jesus himself, through them, sent forth from east to west the sacred and imperishable proclamation of eternal salvation. Amen.]". Mark 16:19-20
Not alone. The great mystery of God is kept secret from those who have not encountered Him. And those who are following diligently, are being help captive by His Holy Spirit. They are never alone nor are they left wondering if He is real.
As we continue journeying towards Christmas, is the star of Bethlehem guiding you with sight. Or is the star of Bethlehem an event that comes and goes each year without any real effect. In time God reveals himself as He did with the Apostles, the journey begins and never ends. Once Jesus is born within(baptism), He seeks until we are found and then the life of Christ comes alive within, that is the sign we all seek.

May the Light of Christ burn within you this Advent Season.
