Daily Thoughts - Preparation.

"Strengthen hands that are feeble, make firm knees that are weak, Say to the fearful of heart: Be strong, do not fear! Here is your God, he comes with vindication; With divine recompense he comes to save you. Then the eyes of the blind shall see, and the ears of the deaf be opened; Then the lame shall leap like a stag, and the mute tongue sing for joy. For waters will burst forth in the wilderness, and streams in the Arabah." ‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭35‬:‭3‬-‭6‬

Are you heard by God? At times it seems not, the situation is not changing but within the desire or question God hears all and answers you and humanity. We all have the need to be heard, collectively we have the same desires: hope, peace, love, joy.

God hears our cries and sent His Son to be with us, to understand us and more importantly to walk with us. Listen to your cry, what have you been asking for? Go beyond the temporal needs and see what is at the root of your quest. God hears and it is His Son that is the answer. He is written within scripture.

As you listen to your need, as does God, hear His response to you. Do not miss the answer to your prayer. It will come in a form that you may not recognize at first, never the less, as we respond God reveals Himself to us. That is the spirit of the Risen Christ, He is Emmanuel, that is the river that bursts free within your heart.

Dear Father, You do hear us, You respond in ways we do not always recognize. Give us the wisdom and desire to take heed to your voice and get up from our situation and walk forward knowing that You are leading and we are being heard. Bless this day and intervene in the difficult, almost impossible situations with hope, peace, love and joy. I ask this in Your most holy name, Emmanuel.
