Daily Thoughts - Into the deep.

Daily Thoughts - Into the deep.

"Yet just as from the heavens the rain and snow come down And do not return there till they have watered the earth, making it fertile and fruitful, Giving seed to the one who sows and bread to the one who eats, So shall my word be that goes forth from my mouth; It shall not return to me empty, but shall do what pleases me, achieving the end for which I sent it."  ‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭55‬:‭10‬-‭11‬

Who is watering your garden?  As it is lent, I took a little inventory of what is growing in my garden, along with the good seed is also the weeds.  The things that cause me strife and soak up the goodness of God.  It is so easy to get caught up in the weeds and if we are not careful they will consume the good rich soil that God works at preparing.

It takes moments of silence to listen to God speak within scripture to acknowledge that He is the One who will harvest.  If we are listening and doing what He asks, the weeds can not take root.  If we focus on the bad within our life, it will fill the garden.  God will produce the yield He desires by allowing Him to feed the soul with the rain from Heaven.  We must let it soak in before it can be effective.
Dear Father, You see all the garden, You send the rain and the snow, we must decide to listen to Your goodness in our lives.  There is much to be thankful for as well as grateful for the blessings You pour out.  You have an intention for life to prepare us for eternity with You.  Fill our days with insights that bring about Your intentions.  Prayers for a friend surrounded by weeds, may he see the goodness of God at work in His life and recognize the weeds.  In Jesus name, Amen.

Daily Thoughts - Into the deep

Daily Thoughts - Into the deep

"The Lord said to Moses: Speak to the whole Israelite community and tell them: Be holy, for I, the Lord your God, am holy."  ‭‭Leviticus‬ ‭19‬:‭1‬-‭2‬

"God said", Moses was a holy man, his life was no longer his as it belonged to God.  God had revealed Himself to Moses within his life and Moses had received forgiveness from God and from himself.

What did God do for us?  He sacrificed His Son so we might have eternal life.  What does it mean to be holy?  To sacrifice self for another, God did this, Moses did this when he acted upon what was said and told the Israelites what God said.  (This is where forgiveness of self steps in, for the knowledge that God has forgiven me and (I) gets out of the way of God)

"Jesus replied, "The first is this: 'Hear, O Israel! The Lord our God is Lord alone! You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind, and with all your strength.' The second is this: 'You shall love your neighbor as  yourself.' There is no other commandment greater than these.""  ‭‭Mark‬ ‭12‬:‭29‬-‭31‬.   Moses demonstrates the Love of God by giving what he has been given so another may come to understand the depth of Love God has for us.

"Dear Lord, I thank you with profound gratitude for the countless blessings in my life, even for the ones that I don't ask for.  Enlighten me daily becoming more aware of those blessings and to be grateful for them. Help me to see that life is a gift and that You are active in my life day and night, especially when I am unaware of your presence when life gets hard, or burdens weigh me down.  May I be filled with a grateful heart and always rejoice in your goodness.  Amen!" (God is so good when we respond to Him, give what He gives you so another may come to know the love of Christ within)

Be a man - Be a Saint.

Be a man - Be a Saint.

"He said in reply, "It is written: 'One does not live by bread alone, but by every word that comes forth from the mouth of God.'" ‭‭Matthew‬ ‭4‬:‭4‬

The blessings of a day with God and His chosen warriors can not be described in words, they must be experienced.  My words will not convey the message that was given by our Holy Bishop Cahill  and the other men that spoke yesterday.  But maybe God will speak and create the desire to join in the battle as a warrior for Christ, quietly living out your faith in the battlefield.

Mass with Bishop and St Gregory the Great explaining the warhorse.  Are you on the warhorse, listening to its response in your life?

"Job is whining. God shows up: doesn't say "I'm OK, you're OK." Gets in his face, says "I created the world. Do you have any idea what you're doing." And goes several more verses: I made Leviathan for fun. Take the war-horse." And Job says Gotcha: you made the horse. But we made the war-horse, culturally.

"And God replies: here's what's important about the warhorse–it's things you humans can't do, Job! When the trumpet sounds it smells the battle from a distance . . . What makes it valuable is not that it carries you into battle. Cowboys & Indians: the Indians were good at sticking ear to ground. But they also watched their horses: the bad guys coming, your horse heard them. Or if your horse snorted, he was smelling the bad guys or their horses from way off. And you can't train a horse to do that, because you can't do that! So the image that God is throwing up in Job's face is the natural created capacities that God has given the warhorse that you can't possibly do. That's what a warrior of God has to learn to do, says Gregory: smell the battle, etc. He will elaborate the seven deadly sins: this is the ur-passage on the seven deadlies: the daughter vices come from this, the particular list, etc."

This is only a small taste of what Bishop talked about.  Father Larry conveyed a strong message that resonated within the hearts of men.  God is asking men to "Go"and be a man of God  He does not force, He just asks.  Those that responded yesterday know of God's desire for them.  Come join us next year 02/17/2024, Bishop will give another amazing preaching that will produce the fruit of Heaven within our souls.

Dear Father God, I sit and thank You this morning for what You are doing within the hearts of men that responded to Your call.  I thank You for the gift of Your faithful servants that are filled with zeal to empower others to become servants of Christ.  Bless this day Father, bless our time with family and friends and may we always remember to keep You first in our lives.  I ask this in Jesus name, Amen.

Daily Thoughts - Into the deep

Daily Thoughts - Into the deep

"he will say: "Here I am!" If you remove the yoke from among you, the accusing finger, and malicious speech; If you lavish your food on the hungry and satisfy the afflicted; Then your light shall rise in the darkness, and your gloom shall become like midday; Then the Lord will guide you always and satisfy your thirst in parched places, will give strength to your bones And you shall be like a watered garden, like a flowing spring whose waters never fail. Your people shall rebuild the ancient ruins; the foundations from ages past you shall raise up; "Repairer of the breach," they shall call you, "Restorer of ruined dwellings.""  Isaiah‬ ‭58‬:‭9‬b-‭12‬

"The Lord says", God's voice in our lives, do you hear Him?  It is God who gives us strength when we listen to Him.  Within scripture He speaks, He tells of trials, tribulations and strife when we do not respond to God's voice.  When we ignore His teachings and His strength we become overwhelmed by the world and that's when our troubles begin.

We have to ask for God in our lives.   ""Everyone who listens to these words of mine and acts on them will be like a wise man who built his house on rock. And everyone who listens to these words of mine but does not act on them will be like a fool who built his house on sand." ‭‭Matthew‬ ‭7‬:‭24,26.  Our strength comes from the Lord, He pours that into our hearts when we sit and listen to Him speak.

What happens when we listen and respond?  "the foundations from ages past you shall raise up", it is you God works thru.  We can not give what we do not have, we do not have because we do not ask.  Ask and you shall receive.  How do I know?  God tells us so in His word, it is all written down for us to hear and do.  Have a blessed day and don't fret the small stuff, it is all small stuff.

Dear Father, it is a glorious morning as You pour Your love into my heart and soul.  I see You at work within friends and family, I see Your word taking root within souls that are listening.  Thank You Father for the gift of this day, Your word will be revealed within the men of the Victoria Diocese as You speak thru Your faithful servants.  Prayers for families this morning and for men to step up and be men of God.  I ask this in the holy name of Jesus, Amen.

Daily Thoughts - Into the deep.

Daily Thoughts - Into the deep.

"See, I have today set before you life and good, death and evil. If you obey the commandments of the Lord, your God, which I am giving you today, loving the Lord, your God, and walking in his ways, and keeping his commandments, statutes and ordinances, you will live and grow numerous, and the Lord, your God, will bless you in the land you are entering to possess. If, however, your heart turns away and you do not obey, but are led astray and bow down to other gods and serve them, I tell you today that you will certainly perish; you will not have a long life on the land which you are crossing the Jordan to enter and possess. I call heaven and earth today to witness against you: I have set before you life and death, the blessing and the curse. Choose life, then, that you and your descendants may live, by loving the Lord, your God, obeying his voice, and holding fast to him. For that will mean life for you, a long life for you to live on the land which the Lord swore to your ancestors, to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, to give to them."  Deuteronomy‬ ‭30‬:‭15‬-‭20‬

Whose voice has command over you?  Moses, a faithful servant of God has learned to listen and obey God's voice in his life.  He has turned from the deceit and lies that had control of him.  God worked within to remove the sin that was causing him pain.  These are lived experiences for Moses.

He speaks with authority, the authority given to him by God.  We can have that same authority if we listen to God, if we seek His will for our lives, if we obey His choice that is placed in front of us.  The Lenten Journey lays ahead as we cross the Jordan.  It is God's voice that carries us across without the pain of sin.  What is God asking of you this year during lent?

It will require obedience and effort, stay prayed up the devil lurks at every corner to trip us up along the way.

Dear Father, You know my heart for that is where You reside.  You give us life within Your word and Your voice, yet we chose other paths that leads us astray.  I trust You in all things even during this period of destruction.  Prayers for Your will to be accomplished within Your holy people.  Thank You Father for answering prayer in ways unexpected, Your way is always better.  In Jesus name, Amen.

Daily Thoughts - Into the deep

Daily Thoughts - Into the deep

"Yet even now—oracle of the Lord— return to me with your whole heart, with fasting, weeping, and mourning. Rend your hearts, not your garments, and return to the Lord, your God, For he is gracious and merciful, slow to anger, abounding in steadfast love, and relenting in punishment."  Joel‬ ‭2‬:‭12‬-‭13‬

We begin again.  Today is Ash Wednesday and God calls us to come back to Him.  Maybe you haven't left Him, maybe you have been doing the dutiful thing religiously yet we begin again.  To take a self inventory of where we are at with our relationship with God and His creation, ask for help from Him to work within.

Rend your heart not your garments.  Our garments are what everyone sees, that part of ourselves we want to portray who we are.  What does God see?  "But the Lord said to Samuel: Do not judge from his appearance or from his lofty stature, because I have rejected him. God does not see as a mortal, who sees the appearance. The Lord looks into the heart."  1 Samuel‬ ‭16‬:‭7‬  Lent is that time of year to slow down and look within, is it God operating within or is it I.

Ash Wednesday is the beginning of our Lenten journey, time to review one's inventory within your heart.  God sees what is going on within do you?  Practice some mortifications this Lenten season, ask the Master for help, speak with the Holy Spirit and follow Jesus.  Even if they are baby steps they are moving in the direction of God.  God knows what it takes to move the heart, listen to Him while we have time.

Dear Father God, I thank You for the opportunity to take an inventory and see what You see.  You know I trust You completely and I am trusting in You for the outcome.  Help us listen with the heart of God and make the changes needed to merciful and gracious, slow to anger and steadfast in love.  Bless this day as we come back to You.  Amen.

Daily Thoughts - Into the deep.

"But may I never boast except in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, through which the world has been crucified to me, and I to the world."  ‭‭Galatians‬ ‭6‬:‭14‬

God within, that is His message this morning.  The crucifixion of Christ happens within, yes Jesus died on the cross for us and yes He rose from the dead.  Have you experienced the crucifixion of Christ within?  There is only One that satisfies the heart, in our human nature we want Heaven and we want it now.  Jesus shows us through His crucifixion that in our death to the things of this world we truly live.  It wasn't easy to go to that cross, nor is it easy for us to through His crucifixion but it is His glory that awaits us on the other side.  The things of this world are passing away, He is not.

Dear Father God, I sit in the silence with You and my thoughts, my feelings betray what is really going on within.  I thank You for the wisdom of the past, for Your words that remind who's we belong to.  You have created a fire within that stands the tesr of time even the crucifixion that can not be seen but must be experienced if one is to be purified.  In Jesus name, Amen.

Daily Thoughts - Into the deep.

Daily Thoughts - Into the deep.

"He said to them, "This kind can only come out through prayer."  ‭‭Mark‬ ‭9‬:‭29‬

The power of prayer.  What is Jesus telling us in this story of the healing of the possessed young boy?  What is God telling the disciples as they could not drive out the demon?  My thoughts turn to the power of prayer, not the prayer that we say when we are in trouble and in need but to daily prayer.  There is power in daily prayer, Jesus demonstrates this power within the story.

"Then the boy's father cried out, "I do believe, help my unbelief!" ‭‭Mark‬ ‭9‬:‭24‬.  What about the disciples unbelief, have they gotten to that place that it is no longer I but Christ within.  Daily prayer at the feet of the Master reveals many things within one's life and the lives of Jesus and His followers.  You can place yourself at the scene and witness first hand what is going on within the mind's eye.

Our power comes from above when we place our trust in Him and give of ourselves within daily prayer.  The type that engages our senses and memories.  Healing comes in many forms and it is prayer that will cleanse the soul of what ails it.

Dear Father, there is peace within the quiet of the day as we journey thru time to witness Your healing power.  I sit and contemplate the Seat of Wisdom and glory of You, Father as you fill the void that is created by sin.  Prayers for memories that are in need of healing, for minds that are carrying guilt and shame when it was only a child being an innocent child.  Thank You Father for teaching and loving upon us, Amen.

"The Lord said to Moses: Speak to the whole Israelite community and tell them: Be holy, for I, the Lord your God, am holy." ‭‭Leviticus‬ ‭19‬:‭1-2‬

There is still time to say "yes" to God's voice.  "God said", do you hear Him speaking.  We learn to hear His voice in our lives.  How do we know it is God's voice?  When we step out on faith, God will respond with goodness, you learn to see God at work when we respond.  It is Him that makes us Holy, it is our response that enables the process.  See you next Saturday morning.  Come and see.

Daily Thoughts - Into the deep.

Daily Thoughts - Into the deep.

"Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord, the people chosen as his inheritance."  Psalms‬ ‭33‬:‭12‬

Who has got you?  He works all things out for those that love Him.  How can I say that?  I watch Him through out history, work out the release of the Israelites, I watch as they flee into the desert and He still walks with them even though they turn their back on Him.  I watch as His Son suffers persecution and death, and I watch as He resurrects His Son.  He works all things out.

With this knowledge that God is faithful to us in covenant relationship then I have the understanding that He loves me and my life is a gift, the gift that He gave me.  I can take that gift and live for myself or I can take that gift and give it back to Him.  Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord!

Are you part of the nation even when things go astray?  Are you part of the nation when you turn your back on Him?  Do you see the blessings in the unexpected within Your life.  Let go and let God.  He will confuse the plans of man and He blessed those who follow Him with understanding and eternal life.  What more does one want?

Dear Father God, You speak loudly this morning within my spirit.  I see a world denying Your truth and I see You at work, bringing about Your kingdom and Your people.  Thank You Father for reaching into the darkness and bringing home the lost and hardened.  In our discomfort we find joy when we find You.  Prayers for the upcoming men's conference and for Your hope to be revealed within the hearts of men.  I ask this in Jesus name, Amen.

Daily Thoughts - into the deep.

"Indeed for your own lifeblood I will demand an accounting: from every animal I will demand it, and from a human being, each one for the blood of another, I will demand an accounting for human life."  Genesis‬ ‭9‬:‭5‬

Starting over, even God started over in a sense.  How do you treat others?  How do you treat yourself?  God saved mankind because of Noah's faithfulness, He showed mercy to man.  He started over, giving us instructions and letting us know there will be an accounting for our actions.  Within this story is the mercifulness of God.

Do we see how God treats us?  He gives us freedom to chose but not without consequences.  He corrects us or at least tries if we are listening.  As followers of Christ we are to do the same.  "Be merciful, just as [also] your Father is merciful."  Luke‬ ‭6‬:‭36‬

Being merciful isn't about live and let live.  "These then are the things you must do: Speak the truth to one another; judge with honesty and complete justice in your gates. Let none of you plot evil against another in your heart, nor love a false oath. For all these things I hate—oracle of the Lord." ‭‭Zechariah‬ ‭8‬:‭16‬-‭17

Dear Lord God, our lives can change in the blink of an eye.  Each day You give us the opportunity to walk in truth with You.  Help me understand Your truth, guide me along the right path that I may be a pleasing offering in Your site.  Prayers for a friend under the weather, bring peace under his roof.  I ask this in Jesus name, Amen.

Daily Thoughts - Into the deep.

Daily Thoughts - Into the deep.

"Then Noah built an altar to the Lord, and choosing from every clean animal and every clean bird, he offered burnt offerings on the altar. When the Lord smelled the sweet odor, the Lord said to himself: Never again will I curse the ground because of human beings, since the desires of the human heart are evil from youth; nor will I ever again strike down every living being, as I have done. All the days of the earth, seedtime and harvest, cold and heat, Summer and winter, and day and night shall not cease."  ‭‭Genesis‬ ‭8‬:‭20‬-‭22‬

The goodness of God!  I sit and listen to the goodness of God this morning within scripture, His words satisfy a hungry heart.  Noah has a good heart, he listened to God and was obedient to His will.  Within the Ark, he is well protected, nothing to fear for God is with him.  His desire, I believe, was for dry land, for the opportunity to go and create goodness with the gifts God gives him.

It isn't the destination that satisfies our hearts but the journey.  Being made in His image and likeness, we desire to be like Him in all ways.  We desire goodness, that is what we seek.  The void left by the evil is replaced with the goodness of God when He is the one directing the ship.  It is the journey drawing us closer to Him, with the knowledge that we are never fully there until our time is up.  What is God saying to you this day?

Dear Father God, You hear the same world that I hear, You feel the same things that I feel.  I thank You for the goodness that surrounds each of us to remind us how good You are to us.  I thank You for the blessings of this day, we may not be able to offer up burnt offerings on the altar but my prayer is that our sacrifices will please Your heart.  May we listen to You and You alone, that is my prayer this day.  In Jesus name, Amen.

Daily Thoughts - Into the deep.

Daily Thoughts - Into the deep.

"They had forgotten to bring bread, and they had only one loaf with them in the boat. He enjoined them, "Watch out, guard against the leaven of the Pharisees and the leaven of Herod.""  ‭‭Mark‬ ‭8‬:‭14‬-‭15‬

Who and what influences you?  The disciples are following Jesus, the way, the truth and the life.  Yet their world was still being influenced by outside forces.  Jesus took this opportunity to teach them about the culture they were surrounded by.  The culture that sought to eliminate the Son of God.  It was Herod who wanted to kill the new born King, it was the Pharisees seeking to capture Jesus and remove His influence.

Jesus calmly explains to them that He is the source of life, He goes back and goes over the miracles of bread and fish.  It was God that feeds them.  What influences us in todays climate?  Do we take time out of our day to listen to God, to steal away and be in His presence and give Him time to teach?

Jesus didn't take the disciples out of the world, He placed them in the middle of it so they could become the salt of the earth.  He warns us to be on guard and watch what we are consuming for it corrupts the mind allowing the evil one a foothold in our lives.

Prayer helps us understand what God is saying to us and who's we are.  Otherwise: "Settle with your opponent quickly while on the way to court with him. Otherwise your opponent will hand you over to the judge, and the judge will hand you over to the guard, and you will be thrown into prison. Amen, I say to you, you will not be released until you have paid the last penny."  ‭‭Matthew‬ ‭5‬:‭25‬-‭26‬

Dear Father, I see and feel how the culture affects the decisions we make, we are surrounded.  Yet in the midst of it, You are there calmly directing my life.  Sharing insights that come from the past and helping us understand who we are up against.  He has not changed and You still command time.  We are blessed to be alive in these times, awaken our senses to the reality of what is going on.  I ask this in Jesus name, Amen.

Daily Thoughts - Into the deep.

"but on Cain and his offering he did not look with favor. So Cain was very angry and dejected. Then the Lord said to Cain: Why are you angry? Why are you dejected? If you act rightly, you will be accepted; but if not, sin lies in wait at the door: its urge is for you, yet you can rule over it."  Genesis‬ ‭4‬:‭5‬-‭7‬

Listen to God speak, He speaks with authority and plainly.  What do we do with our first fruits, our best efforts, our God given talents.  Do we bring to God our best?  Cain kept the best for himself, thinking it was he that was making the fruit of the earth grow.  He resented God for not praising him and his abilities.  God seen the sin lurking in his heart and gave him something to ponder.  If he was the master over the field, he could be the master over sin.

We know how that turned out don't we, like the field, Cain took charge not having need for God and he took matters into his own hands and Eliminated his brother Able.  God invites us to bring Him our best, to invite Him into our lives and trust His good  counsel and His blessings, even if it stings.  We can not master sin without God, the devil would have us believing otherwise and that turns out bad for us.

Dear Father God, You have blessed us with this great day, with ability and talent to serve You.  May I in return give You my best and when I don't please correct me.  You are my Master and in You I trust.  Prayers for success on a field being tilled, it holds many treasures yet to be found.  You are the vine and we are the branches being fed.  In Jesus name, Amen.

Daily Thoughts - The Beginning.

Daily Thoughts - The Beginning.

"The Lord God then called to the man and asked him: Where are you? He answered, "I heard you in the garden; but I was afraid, because I was naked, so I hid." Then God asked: Who told you that you were naked? Have you eaten from the tree of which I had forbidden you to eat? The man replied, "The woman whom you put here with me—she gave me fruit from the tree, so I ate it." The Lord God then asked the woman: What is this you have done? The woman answered, "The snake tricked me, so I ate it." Genesis‬ ‭3‬:‭9‬-‭13‬

Sin separates us from God.  The garden of Eden, contains us, God and the evil one.  Do you recognize the sin in your life?  How can we recognize it?  It separates us from God, His voice becomes distant when we sin and we hide.  Interestingly, the evil ones voice becomes less noticeable to the point we don't recognize it.   Look at our culture, what is sin?   I can hear Pilate ask the question?  "Pilate said to him, "What is truth?" John‬ ‭18‬:‭38‬a

What keeps us in front of God, in His presence?  Prayer, daily prayer, responding to Him when He calls and listening to His instruction.  His instruction removes sin from our lives, it purifies us over time in our obedience to Him.

One of the sins God is working on is the sin of pride.  Do I accept the will of God in the circumstances of life or do I rebel against it with my will?  Do I use the gifts and talents to glorify Him or myself.  It is an interesting journey navigating that fine line but with the knowledge that it is Him and not I, all will be well.  The outcome is His and His is the best, then the Garden of Eden becomes a very fruitful place.  Have a blessed day.

Dear Father, I thank You for the blessing of this day, to begin in Your presence and speak with You and listen to You as You speak.  Prayers Father for the gift of hearing, for the wisdom of the ages to draw us into the deep with You as our guide.  Prayers for a world living in denial, deaf to the reality of Your presence.  I ask this in Jesus name, Amen.

Daily Thoughts - The Beginning.

Daily Thoughts - The Beginning.

"the man said: "This one, at last, is bone of my bones and flesh of my flesh; This one shall be called 'woman,' for out of man this one has been taken." That is why a man leaves his father and mother and clings to his wife, and the two of them become one body. The man and his wife were both naked, yet they felt no shame."  ‭‭Genesis‬ ‭2‬:‭23‬-‭25‬

The perfect will of God.  God's definition of marriage and what the sacrament of marriage is.  This is God's will for humanity, His perfect will.  What does society say about God's perfect will?  Interestingly society seeks to bend God's will to man's will.   Man tried that in the garden and it failed.

"God said", do we listen to God?  His voice speaks into our lives and He seeks the best for us, He seeks our salvation thru obedience.  Not an obedience that is forced upon us but one out of love that is His true nature.  We can rebel against God and He just waits, knowing at some point the pain and suffering will produce the desired result.

I guess you could say we are surrounded by a culture that rebels against God, do we bend to the culture and accept its values or do we listen to the truth of God written in His word.  His perfect will seeks our perfect union that leads to Heaven.

Dear Father, we are surrounded by the world that denies Your truth, that twists lies into false truths, it's truth.  You do not bend, You love and love until it hurts.  Help us see the areas of our lives that we are asking You to bend to our will and giving up our eternal freedom.  Thank You Father, Son and Holy Spirit for the reminder how precious life is.  In Jesus name, Amen.

Daily Thoughts - The Beginning.

Daily Thoughts - The Beginning.

"The Lord God then took the man and settled him in the garden of Eden, to cultivate and care for it. The Lord God gave the man this order: You are free to eat from any of the trees of the garden except the tree of knowledge of good and evil. From that tree you shall not eat; when you eat from it you shall die."  ‭‭Genesis‬ ‭2‬:‭15‬-‭17‬

What is good and pleasing to God, not for our glory and benefit but for His glory and benefit.  Listen to God speak to Adam, clear and concise instructions with the consequence spelled out.  What was within the man that made him chose to ignore God and His will.  How many times have we fell into the trap because it was coming from within, my will over God's will.

If we are honest with ourselves, we create the situations in life because of our choices.  Adam didn't chose death as the outcome, he made a simple decision that lead to all of the pain and suffering.  We have the choice today to listen to God and to chose His greater good.

Slow down, listen, discern His will, no emotional decisions and make the decision that brings glory to Him, even if it costs you much.  Have a blessed day walking with Your creator, He wants what is best ultimately leading to your salvation.

Dear Father, help me look within to see the little decisions that will eventually betray You, help me chose the greater good for Your glory.  Thank You for the life lessons that are unfolding and the opportunity to respond in love.  I ask this in Jesus name, Amen.
