"And 'to love him with all your heart, with all your understanding, with all your strength, and to love your neighbor as yourself' is worth more than all burnt offerings and sacrifices." Mark 12:33
Do you love God with all your heart, I can say yes but as I ponder this verse I can see that even though I love Him with all my heart, there are areas that I do not give Him dominion. Sin is devious it looks for the cracks and tries to break in. God calls us to do more than go through the motions, He asks us to live our lives with Him at the center all the time not 90%, or 95% or even 99.9% of the time but all the time.
Father, he who knew no sin was made sin for us, to save us and restore us to your friendship. Look upon our contrite heart and afflicted spirit and heal our troubled conscience, so that in the joy and strength of the Holy Spirit we may proclaim your praise and glory before all the nations. Lord, You are so good to us, Thank You. Amen
