Daily Thoughts 11-10-2017 Luke 16:8

"Then to another he said, 'And you, how much do you owe?' He replied, 'One hundred kors of wheat.' He said to him, 'Here is your promissory note; write one for eighty.'  And the master commended that dishonest steward for acting prudently. "For the children of this world are more prudent in dealing with their own generation than are the children of light." ‭‭Luke‬ ‭16:7-8

The master knew their debt and am sure wanted paid.  The steward knew he was in trouble for he wasn't doing what he was called to do.  The stewards actions were very self-serving, yet the Master was pleased with the outcome.  Why do we wait to be in trouble before we try and resolve the problem.  If the steward would have focused on his master and not himself, he would of not gotten into that predicament..   Consider what you do for Christ, are they self serving to save yourself or are you doing it for the glory of God?  Do what God calls you to do and do not consider the outcome to be yours.  In reality it isn't you doing it.

Dear Lord God, all that I am and all that I do, I offer to You through Your mother Mary..   This day belongs to You, I will not count the outcome for that is serving me.  You take care of the robins and what they are to eat, I thank You for taking care of me.  May I be a prudent servant that does not squander Your good gifts today.  I pray for those souls that are lost and do not know You, bring them home Lord so they know the love You have for them.  I ask this in Jesus's name, Amen.

Mary, Queen of Heaven, pray for us.

Come Holy Spirit, living in Mary.  Help me to give great glory to God by giving all I am and have to Mary.
