Daily Thoughts 11-21-2017 Luke 19:5-6

"When he reached the place, Jesus looked up and said to him, "Zacchaeus, come down quickly, for today I must stay at your house." And he came down quickly and received him with joy." ‭‭Luke‬ ‭19:5-6‬

Jesus calls another man to Him, yesterday it was the blind man, today it is Zacchaeus.  They both said yes, they both received Him with joy.  I reflect upon this grace of joy and the love that is instilled within each of us to seek salvation.  This is where we find true happiness, following Christ and doing His will.

I met a young man yesterday who was a Buddhist and reading upon Jesus.  It was only a brief moment but ultimately I said yes to Jesus.  I did what God asked of me in this chance encounter.  We think evangelizing is converting someone, it isn't, we are to be like the two men these past two days and just say yes.  Our Mother Mary said yes and look at what Joy she brought into the world.  Will you say yes today?

Dear Lord God, my heart is full this morning, I bless You and praise You with my "yes" today.  I will receive You with joy today.  Guide me today, lead me today and help me focus only on today.  Forgive me Lord for my transgressions and help me understand what seems like punishment is really only discipline.  You are The Loving Father guiding His Sons and Daughters to eternity.  Praise be Your Holy Name. Amen.

Mary, Mediatric's of All Graces, pray for us.

33 days to Morning Glory, day 17 reading.
Reflection

Come Holy Spirit, Living in Mary. Bring me face to face with the love in the Heart of Jesus crucified.
