"They told him, "Jesus of Nazareth is passing by.." He shouted, "Jesus, Son of David, have pity on me! The people walking in front rebuked him, telling him to be silent, but he kept calling out all the more, "Son of David, have pity on me!" Then Jesus stopped and ordered that he be brought to him; and when he came near, Jesus asked him, "What do you want me to do for you?" He replied, "Lord, please let me see."" Luke 18:37-41
Jesus knows our pains, our joys, our burdens and what blinds us. Even though He is close, He waits for us to call out to Him. He so much wants to give us the cure but we have to ask. He wants us to draw near. We have to seek Him and speak to Him. Each day Jesus draws near, do we listen for Him as He approaches, do we call out and repent, do we ask for what we want Him to do for us? Or are we the ones in the crowd telling others to be silent, don't make a fool of yourself. The world is in need of more to speak out, to shout out, Jesus, Son of David, have pity on me!

Dear Lord God, please let me see. Please let me hear you coming. Please let me feel Your presence. Please let me spend time each day with You. Please call me to You. Please be patient with me. Thank You Jesus for giving Your life for mine, a sinner. May I honor You today with mine. Amen.
