"And now, bless the God of all, who has done wonders on earth; Who fosters growth from the womb, fashioning it according to his will! May he grant you a wise heart and abide with you in peace;" Ben Sira 50:22-23
The turkey is in the oven and now it is just a little quiet time to reflect upon God's word and the past year. In all my thoughts and pondering I can look back and see God in action, I can see the times we walked together and the times I strayed yet God was there. He does foster growth, He challenges us and allows to grow. There is so much to be thankful for this year. He is marvelous and wondrous, I am at peace because He is there through all of it.
Dear Heavenly Father, I thank You for all of Your blessings. I thank You for family and friends, I thank You for Your gentleness and encouragement to move forward. I thank You for the fostering and the fashioning that continues. May I bless you this day with my presence with You in my heart. Protect all those traveling today, be with those that have no where to go, help those who are grieving, fill them with joyous moments of their loved ones. Help us see You in our lives and help us move closer to You and be thankful in all thinks. Help us reflect and sit still. In Jesus name, Amen.
Mary, Mother of Divine Providence, pray for us.
