Daily Thoughts 12-28-2017 Matthew 2:18

"A voice was heard in Ramah, sobbing and loud lamentation; Rachel weeping for her children, and she would not be consoled, since they were no more." Matthew‬ ‭2:18‬

Today we celebrate the feast of the Holy Innocent, those male boys that King Herod was threatened by, he had them slaughtered.  What about our own lives, how many times are we threatened and our goal is to attack the other, to remove them from our lives.  Reflect upon your own life and see how your actions are removing Christ from the equation.  It isn't just the unborn who are being attacked, sometimes it is those closest to us and we don't even know it.   "And if anyone hears my words and does not observe them, I do not condemn him, for I did not come to condemn the world but to save the world." ‭‭John‬ ‭12:47‬

Dear Heavenly Father, I look to You this morning for guidance and insight into my own life.  What am I doing that is impacting the spirit of another, remove these things from me.  Help me see as You see and live as You live and do as You do.  Make this coming year different as I walk with You.  Open doors that allows You in so You can go to work and bring about Your Kingdom within the hearts of men.  Amen.

Mary, Mother of Christ, pray for us.
