"Many peoples shall come and say: "Come, let us go up to the LORD's mountain, to the house of the God of Jacob, That he may instruct us in his ways, and we may walk in his paths." For from Zion shall go forth instruction, and the word of the LORD from Jerusalem." Isaiah 2:3
I remember a vacation a few years back and we climbed a mountain. Looked easy from the bottom, didn't look that far. The road was windy and had all kinds of turns. It was steep at times, flat, gentle and some real difficulty areas to traverse. There were times I wanted to turn back, there were times I was down right scared, but I knew the view from the top would be incredible. As I climbed it was God who encouraged me to continue. When we are not striving for anything and not talking to God each day we will not see the heights He will take us too. I encourage you to develop a daily conversation with God and then trust him. Allow Him to instruct you on your climb up the mountain. He reminded me this morning that His timing is always perfect and His ways are not our ways.
Dear Heavenly Father, Your Son Jesus traveled this road we are on. You always provided for His needs and drew Him to do Your will. He taught us how to pray in the Our Father, May we be faithful to these words. "Thy Kingdom come, Thy will be done on earth as it is in Heaven". You teach God when we turn to You and trust. Help me see what You see and continue to encourage me to climb Your mountain. In Jesus name, Amen.
Mary, Queen of Hope, pray for us.
33 days of Morning Glory, day 30 reflection.
Come Holy Spirit, living in Mary. May I ponder the words of Kolbe's Marian teaching summarized by these words: Mystery, Militia, and Love.
I told you, His timing was perfect.
