"The disciples said to him, "Where could we ever get enough bread in this deserted place to satisfy such a crowd?" Matthew 15:33
What about the world we live in today, where could we ever get enough bread to satisfy them. If only we looked for deeper meaning within God's Word. "Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff comfort me." Psalms 23:4. The world we live is the shadow of death if we have not found Jesus. It is He who gives us strength, He is the bread of life that we are to feed upon.
"insomuch that the multitude wondered, when they saw the dumb speaking, the maimed whole, and the lame walking, and the blind seeing: and they glorified the God of Israel." Matthew 15:31. Once we have found Him and recognize what He has done, we are transformed into the Body and Blood of Jesus. We become living examples of His saving grace and proclaim the gospel with our lives.
Dear Heavenly Father, I thank You for this day, for the opportunity to be still and enjoy Your beauty that surrounds me. Feed me Father, You are the bread that I want to feed upon. I will fear no evil, for You are with me. Overcome what ever challenges us and increase so I decrease. I ask this in Jesus name, Amen.
Mary, Queen of Heaven, pray for us.
