Daily Thoughts 2-10-2018 Psalms 106:20-21

"They exchanged their glory for the image of a grass-eating bull. They forgot the God who had saved them, who had done great deeds in Egypt," Psalms‬ ‭106:20-21‬

Who do you follow?  I think about the ways we separate ourselves from God.  The choices we make each day to either have Him in our lives or to ignore His glory and live life without any real guidance or protection.  Our glory, our joy, our happiness comes from following God, the one true God.  Wander away and follow some other god, money, greed, lust, pride, anger, we will get lost in a pile of dung.

God made each of us, special and unique, with a purpose.  "And now, saith the Lord that formed me from the womb to be his servant, to bring Jacob again to him, Though Israel be not gathered, yet shall I be glorious in the eyes of the Lord, and my God shall be my strength." Isaiah‬ ‭49:5‬.  The choice is yours, what is the grass eating bull feeding you, let God be your strength and grow in happiness.

Dear Heavenly Father, You are mine, You are my God and I will follow You to the ends of the world.  I am Your servant and You are my Protector.  I thank You for wonderful friends, a roof over my head and more than anything, Joy in my heart.  May Your Holy Spirit penetrate hearts that have wandered off and bring them back to You.  You, who brings peace, will be their strength for You are real!  In Jesus name, Amen.

Mary, Mother of Love, pray for us.
