Love is a decision and not a feeling. Have you considered that God puts people in your path for you to help and share your gifts and talents with. Even people who you wouldn't normally hang with. Do you notice them? Look with eyes of compassion, and pray about it. That person who is hurting or in need that keeps being placed in front of you, you may be an answer to their prayer in their life. It maybe a chance encounter and you are an instrument of God's love. "He heard this and said, "Those who are well do not need a physician, but the sick do." Matthew 9:12. Pay attention to your surroundings and give what Jesus gave you, love in action. He died on a cross for you, will you die for Him as you live?
Dear Father God, You continue to amaze me in the simplest of ways. I love You. Lead me this day to do Your will and give You away. You are love at its purest form. Be my peace in a world in chaos, be my protection in a world suffering. Strengthen me for Your purpose. Thank You for the people You place in my life who share their joy with me. Thank You for their witness of love, be their peace and their cure. Bless this day Lord. I ask this in Your most Holy name, King of Glory, Amen.
