""Stop judging and you will not be judged. Stop condemning and you will not be condemned. Forgive and you will be forgiven." Luke 6:37
I close my eyes this morning and I see what Jesus was seeing. He didn't judge, yet He was judged. He didn't condemn yet He was condemned. He forgave yet He wasn't forgiven. "But rather, love your enemies and do good to them, and lend expecting nothing back; then your reward will be great and you will be children of the Most High, for he himself is kind to the ungrateful and the wicked." Luke 6:35. Jesus was God Living as man, and He lived these verses. Love your enemies, love your neighbor, love each other, love yourself. Don't condemn them, forgive them and don't bring it up. Don't judge each other, you are not any better. See what Jesus sees and respond as He does with love. "For the whole law is fulfilled in one statement, namely, "You shall love your neighbor as yourself."" Galatians 5:14. Are you loving your neighbor as Jesus does? Or are you the one scourging Jesus on His way to the crucifixion? Close your eyes and see what Jesus sees.
Dear Lord God, I am trying to love my neighbor, give me Your compassion, give me Your love. Put into me what I am lacking. Bless this day Lord with You in my mind and heart. Amen.
Mary, Queen of Saints, pray for us.
