"And if anyone hears my words and does not observe them, I do not condemn him, for I did not come to condemn the world but to save the world. Whoever rejects me and does not accept my words has something to judge him: the word that I spoke, it will condemn him on the last day," John 12:47-48
Jesus gives us ample opportunity to listen and accept His Word. Are we any different than the Scribes and the Pharisees if we reject His word and go about our own ways without God? "Therefore, behold, I send to you prophets and wise men and scribes; some of them you will kill and crucify, some of them you will scourge in your synagogues and pursue from town to town," Matthew 23:34. He gives us free will to choose our path. The woman at the well, He didn't condemn, He spoke truth to her and told her to sin no more. No condemnation in His voice but a clear path forward. It is when we knowingly and consciously reject the truth do we condemn ourselves. Listen to God, He speaks to the heart, like the women at the well ask for forgiveness and go and sin no more.
What is God saying to me: careful, you have a lot to learn, continue on the journey.
Dear Father, You know my heart and my purpose, purify my mind and heart as I seek to make the teachings of Your Son Jesus, a priority in my life. Thank You Father for this time together may it be as pleasing to you as it is to me. Prayers for all those being guided by the Holy Spirit, may they glorify heaven today with the choices they make. I ask this in Jesus name, Amen.
Mary, Queen of Peace, pray for us.
Greater is He that is in me than he that is in the world. 1 John 4:4b
