"Jesus answered and said to him, "Whoever loves me will keep my word, and my Father will love him, and we will come to him and make our dwelling with him." John 14:23
God is Love, where God is there is love. In our loving relationships we strive to take care of the other, to insure their comfort. Love isn't self seeking but other seeking. The same it is with our relationship with God, we know when we are doing right and when we are doing wrong. They stand at the door and knock, it is us who decides to open the door and let them in. The more we reside together the deeper our relationship grows, what was once hard, has become easy. It is much like a marriage, it grows with time, especially when we are forgiven for our transgressions. Greater is He that is in me than he that is in the world. 1 John 4:4b
What is God saying to me? I stand at the door and knock, will you grow deeper in love with Me?
Dear Father, You know the answer is yes, You have been nothing but good to me. I am overwhelmed by Your love and enjoy our time together. It brings me joy, knowing You are right there. You have rooted out what causes us pain and You continue to reveal Yourself to me. May I walk in Your ways today Lord, may I do Your will and may I be used to glorify Your Kingdom. I ask this in Jesus name, Amen.
Mary, Mother of Love, pray for us.
