Isaiah 12:1-6 On that day

"God indeed is my salvation; I am confident and unafraid. For the LORD is my strength and my might, and he has been my salvation. With joy you will draw water from the fountains of salvation,". ‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭12:2-3‬

Isaiah 12:1-6  On that day.  Can you picture Heaven?  Close your eyes and see the prize, who is there?  I see Jesus along with lots of loved ones, it brings tears to my eyes.  They have fought the good fight and are with the Master.  Well done my good and faithful servant are words they have already heard.  We have yet to hear those words so we draw water from the fountains of salvation.  We listen to the Holy Spirit and follow His direction as He gives us graces to move forward.  This past week the grace has been to trust, even though it was not comfortable, God said to trust in Him.  To take that step of faith and do the task that He asked of me.  I realized that I am weak but He is strong, with this knowledge I can move forward for "on that day" He will be there along with all those who I hold dear in my heart.  Happy Saturday, drink plenty of water, God forbid you get thirsty.

What is God saying to me: ❤️

Dear Heavenly Father, we walk in the cool of the morning and enjoy each other's company.  You help me reflect upon things of the past, showing me the way forward, You know the journey is not easy but You make sure Your grace is sufficient to finish the race.  I thank You for this image, the image of Your Holiness, the image of a friend sharing His joy.  I thank You for the book of Isiah and Your word that is penetrating my heart.  Thank You for that still small voice that faint whisper that says trust, You are Mighty God, You are Holy God, may I always please You and never fail.  Prayers for this day, that none go thirsty and drink from the well spring of Life, Amen.
