Isaiah - Our History (I prayed with the introduction)

"The vision which Isaiah, son of Amoz, saw concerning Judah and Jerusalem in the days of Uzziah, Jotham, Ahaz and Hezekiah, kings of Judah."  ‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭1:1‬

Isaiah - Our History.  Isaiah, one of the greatest prophets gives details of his life and that of God's people.  Isaiah was called to be a prophet, to be a voice from the death of Uzziah in 742 B.C. to the death of Hezekiah in 687 B.C.  In understanding our past, we can understand our future.  Jesus quotes Isaiah eight times in the New Testament and was intimately involved in his life.  Our salvation story repeats itself over and over again in history and in our own journeys.  God continues to show us that as long as we have breath in our lungs there is always hope, hope for a better tomorrow.  This is where God is leading me next, is into Isaiah as He teaches the past, we will see the future.

What is God saying to me: follow My lead.

Dear Father, You know I Am not much of a historian buff or a detail person but always open to learning.  I look forward to the lesson each morning in Your presence.  Help me understand the message each day, see the parallels in today's times and go away filled with hope for a brighter future.  Prayers for friends dealing with troubles, disappointments and set backs, our journey Lord is never a smooth road but You are always by our side.  I ask this in Jesus name, Amen.

Mary, Queen of Heaven, Pray for us.
St Joesph, Pray for us.
