Isaiah 7:1-9 Stay Calm

"Then the LORD said to Isaiah: Go out to meet Ahaz, you and your son Shear-jashub, at the end of the conduit of the upper pool, on the highway to the fuller's field, and say to him: Take care you remain calm and do not fear; do not let your courage fail before these two stumps of smoldering brands, the blazing anger of Rezin and the Arameans and of the son of Remaliah—". ‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭7:3-4

Isaiah 7:1-9 Stay Calm.  God sends a messenger, Isaiah, to remind Ahaz who is on his side.  We need those reminders as well that God is with us, we shall not fear and remain calm.  Knowing what you know gives you strength, it allows you to draw upon the strength of the Lord.  The odds may appear to be stacked against you but you have God.  I recall a time I called upon God, it was a scary time, the odds were stacked against us and the outcome looked bleak but in the midst of that trial, God sent a messenger, a very large one.  In that moment, I knew it would be ok.  "Trust in the LORD with all your heart, on your own intelligence do not rely; In all your ways be mindful of him, and he will make straight your paths."  ‭‭Proverbs‬ ‭3:5-6‬

What is God saying to me:

Dear Father, I thank You for that memory this morning and how everything worked out just the way it was suppose too.  You are always by our side and will respond when we call upon You.  There is a lot going on but we are to remain calm and stay focused upon You.  I thank You Father for a great start on a project, it will be what You desire.  Thank You for the insight to follow and listen to Your voice.  Bless this day Lord, keep us safe and free from all danger.  I ask this in Jesus name, Amen.
